Yes, Joomla is able to be installed on any hosts server. Click the download link, upload the files to your server/domain, and install it there. Detailed instructions can be found on the Joomla website.

Yes you can. If your web host supports joomla, you can upload your joomla website using ftp or fantastico. This way, it’s easy for you to set up your website. You can edit it through your joomla admin account or directly to your web host. I’m using hostgator for my joomla site. First, I download the joomla 1.5 installer, then upload it to my web host using the fantastico installer. It takes only for a few minutes.
Then edit my site using the joomla admin panel. If some files need to be uploaded, moved, edited, or deleted I used my web host account to do it. Hostgator has a user-friendly cpanel, that’s why it’s easy for me to do different tasks.

Yes you can. However, FTP access is not enough. You will also need to create a MySQL database, so you will need access to phpMyAdmin normally found on your host’s control panel.
    Good luck.
