Joomla Hosting

Hi All,
This is Rahul and im bit confused between two good applications. i checked few online blogs about them and im still not clear which one to choose. So please help me to choose one of them and complete a site.

here is the task…..

i was given project by my manager to crete a dynamic website which could hold a team introduction page with team pictures, a team blog or a forum for new issues and their resolutions.It should also hold team reports which needs to be changed every week. And this site will be hosted on a local machine running on XP Professional with 1gb ram and 80gb HDD.And everyone in team could access within the network using the ip address or the localhost name of that machine.

So please check with this data i provided and guide me to choose the right option to build the site.

Either will work well for you, Joomla is a spin off project from Mambo, I have used Joomla several times and can highly recommend it.
Both of them use php & MySQL so you may want to consider using a linux distribution rather than WinXP as I don’t know how well Joomla or Mambo would install on XP.
